1) I am afraid of heights, but my friend is trying to commit suicide on the edge of a building and i need to overcome my fear and help him off the ledge.

2) Asking someone on. Overcoming that fear is just simply getting it over with.

3) The hero in my film isn't really afraid of anything, but if there was one thing he had to be afraid of was staying alive and the tribe that kills humans. He faces his fears because the tribe kills all the other humans that were trying to rescue him.

Concept 38

1) A situation at school was i was being nice and but the person i was talking to was in a bad mood and was being really rude. That got me mad, and he was already in a bad mood so we argued and almost fought.

3) Hero: brave, heart, determination The hero is a cop.
Villain: cold hearted, ruthless. The villain is an inmate.

script critique

Forgettable yesterday-
I really liked this story, it reminded me a lot of the movie hang over because they are a bunch of friends that don't remember what happened, and how they ended up where they were. I liked the description of the characters, and the way the story was told.

concept 37

1) Inception, insidious, alpha dog. In the movie inception, the ending has the top spinning to show whether he is in a dream or not but the top doesn't fall over meaning his is in a dream. I through me off guard because he just woke up from his dream. In insidious the old woman takes over the fathers body, and it through me off guard because he and his son were fine, until the woman took a picture of him and he went crazy. In the movie alpha dog i didn't think the hostage would get killed because they had such a good relationship with the kid and the kid felt no threat around them, he actually enjoyed being around them.

3) One trick i pulled off was fooling my parents that i did my hw when i was younger. It didn't last long because my mom checked my grades online, but i lied and told them i had no homework. Other than that i didn't have any other tricks in mind.

The Woman- The woman told the two men to fight to the death for her, and whoever was to win would receive her as a prize. The woman was raped by the bandit and faints with the dagger in her hand thinking she killed her husband the samurai. 

The Woodcutter- The woodcutter lied in the beginning by saying that he only saw the body but later he tells the truth and explains the whole fight and how it resulted.

The Bandit- They had an epic and courageous battle, while they were in battle the woman runs off. The bandit makes the battle sound very intense by saying they clashed swords many times. 

The Samurai- The samurai lost the fight between him and the bandit but he survived. The Bandit and the woman ran off so the samurai killed himself. 

I think the bandits story was the true story because everyone else seemed to try and make themselves look good and the bandit didn't 

Concept 36

In my non linear story a character named john is stuck in a forest but is dreaming. In his dream he cannot escape this jungle into safety. Three ways to solve the conflict is people fly in from a helicopter and save him, he sees a village and lives there, he gets killed and wakes up. When the helicopter tries to save him the helicopter crashes, the village he sees hate outsiders, and he never dies to wake up.

1) Luke skywalker from the scale of 1-10 risked everything to get what he had to do done, so i scale him 10

2) If i was in Luke Skywalkers position i would try my best to do more but if not i'll probably do just as much as he did.

3) One time i took a risk betting all my money and even a little extra i didn't have on a boxing fight. I wanted more money to spend on someone. The outcome came out to be helpful to me because i won all the money.

Quickwrite

In the movie Vantage Point the different perspectives show the scene in different ways. The bad guys were different depending on the perspective you looked at. When i was watching it i couldn't tell who the bad guy was, until i saw it from all the perspectives. The different perspective showed certain scenes that other perspectives didn't show. I thought it was a great movie, i loved the story, the different scenes and perspectives.

If i could possess any super power i would want to be in two places at once. Be able to clone or multiply into to people. If this power were used in the hands of a villain I would have a hard time defeating him/her. I wouldn't know how to stop him other than killing all of his clones. Even then he'll just endlessly multiply, I was thinking of keeping him in one room confined but he can always multiply into other places and escape.

Eternal Sunshine

I really liked this movie. The fact that they were in his head, and erased his memory makes it different from the other movies. I thought it was very unique, i enjoyed it. I thought the fact it was told not in chronological order added to the theme.

One time me and my brother were going to take the light rail downtown to watch a friends gymnastic performance and before we bought our ticket two people gave us their tickets after they got off. It was very nice of them, and i realized how good of an idea it was knowing i wouldn't use that ticket again, so the next time i got off with a ticket and someone is trying to buy i politely gave it to them.

If I were doing a thirty second commercial on insurance I would have relate it to kids losing or breaking their laptops at the school. Many people don't get insurance thinking they won't lose or break it, but I have many friends that do lose or break their laptop and end up having to pay a large amount of money. I would make it dramatic, showing how stressed the kid is, and how much work he has to put into getting money to pay the debt off. That will show the audience that its better to be safe than sorry and purchase insurance.
